Mesolithic Orkney
Mesolithic Orkney was a warm, forested place. An extended family carry out a variety of activities around their seasonal camp. In the background, hunters return from the woodland and youth processes skins. On the beach, children play near a skin boat. Two woman cook between the tents. In the foreground, a young woman makes baskets; an old man tells stories and another man teaches a child to knap flints. Produced for Tomb of the Eagles
